Introduction
Cortiva is designed as one calm layer for the apps that run your day. For the AI assistant Raya to help effectively, the system needs access to sensitive context such as schedule, travel, biometrics, and connected devices.
We operate with a Privacy-First principle: your data belongs to you, we do not sell it to third parties, and you remain in control of what the system can know and do.
1. Data we collect
To provide the service, Cortiva connects to your apps through official APIs.
- Schedule and task data: events from Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, tasks from Notion and monday.com.
- Biometric data: energy level, sleep, and HRV through Oura Ring or Apple Health.
- Location and travel data: flight details, route information (Google Maps), and local geofences for Time-to-Leave alerts.
- Device data: status signals from integrated devices (Tesla, Home Assistant) for approved automations.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used only to operate your personal Cortiva assistant, including:
- ETA calculation and day replanning when delays happen.
- Schedule rebalance based on your current energy level.
- Execution of allowed automations (for example, pre-heating a car or enabling home security).
3. Sensitive-signal isolation (Health & Location Guardrails)
Cortiva uses strict guardrails to separate sensitive signals. Health and biometric data (such as readiness or heart-rate signals) is not merged with active geo-tracking for route profiling.
For trips to medical facilities, location tracking is automatically disabled and replaced by a safer time-based reminder fallback.
4. Your control and the Control Center
At any time, you can use Control Center settings to:
- Pause all automations in one click (Pause automations).
- Review Receipts, a transparent log of automatic actions Cortiva performed.
- Revoke access to any integration.
5. Data requests and contact
If you want to delete your account, revoke permissions, or export your data, contact us at beacon@cortiva.co.uk.
